  • Overview

    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Partner Technology Advisor provides training, coaching, and support to Omnitracs’ authorized reseller partners.

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

    • Training authorized resellers through best practices and efficient use of company's partner enablement resources and ensuring appropriate training and support
    • Communicating with partners about new products and service offerings
    • Working with channel managers to ensure appropriate technical information is distributed
    • Working collaboratively to define and execute partners' training and onboarding plans
    • Demonstrating industry knowledge, keeping abreast of competition, competitive issues and products
    • Attending and participating in partner meetings, product seminars, and trade shows
    • Collaborating with peers in different business units and worldwide theaters
    • Training and supporting partners
    • Travel up to 25% of the time

    Performing other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

    • Strong entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills, customer-focused, strong communication and organizational skills, goal oriented, and self-motivated team player
    • Ability to quickly learn, use, and understand technology applications

    EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

    EXPERIENCE: 2-3 years related experience in a high-tech company supporting a portfolio of channel partners or customers; experience working in international environments and managing training and certification initiatives in culturally diverse regions

    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

    • Knowledgeable about channel partner initiatives and partner engagement best practices
    • Knowledge of training and onboarding processes
    • Self-motivated and innovative, possessing the ability to motivate and influence partners
    • Strong capacity to build relationships at both executive and operational levels
    • Knowledgeable about transportation and logistics software
    • Superior verbal and written communications skills
    • Superior interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Persistently demonstrates a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward the company, the work, the vision, and the people
    • Ability to consistently drive and deliver outstanding results
    • Ability to effectively and consistently engage a cross functional team
    • Ability to organize and prioritize
    • Ability to lead teams to success
    • Ability to give and receive direction

    • Ability to travel, domestically and internationally
