Job Description

Omnitracs was launched when the first satellite mobile communications system for a single trucking company over 30 years ago. Today, we help our customers manage their 1.1M fleets across more than 70 countries by improving the productivity, reliability, routing, safety and compliance systems with innovative software and SaaS fleet management solutions.

If you are energetic, tenacious and eager to take the next step in developing your sales career, you could be our next Lead Generation Manager at Omnitracs. Reporting to the Director of Demand Generation Marketing, you will be a part of the Marketing efforts to develop and manage inbound and outbound lead efforts with marketing campaigns team. Managerial responsibilities will include lead qualification, prospecting, objection handling and appointment setting. Through hands-on leadership and a clear understanding of day-to-day operational needs, you will manage a team of high performing Business Development Representatives whom consistently meet and exceed individual and team goals.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be high-energy, creative, self-motivated as well as a team oriented. You will work closely with our marketing and sales teams to develop optimal performance practices by exceeding monthly/quarterly/annual quotas of qualified opportunities. You will serve as the BDRs day-to-day mentor, motivator and coach. You’ll manage lead follow-up, building product and campaign knowledge, refining outbound pitches with marketing & sales, work with prospect objections, shadow calls and grow sales opportunities. And you’ll deliver thoughtful, metric-based quarterly business reviews to sales/marketing management teams.

Responsibilities

Additionally, you have:

  • 3+ years of experience leading a BDR/SDR/Inside Sales team
  • Experience in an environment focused on account-based sales development
  • Proven track record of exceeding high-volume sales targets and experience success in a goal-driven environment
  • Strong culture creator and ability to develop, retain and grow teams
  • Track history in leveraging both art and science in driving results
  • Experience supporting management teams in developing sales strategies for Enterprise and SMB organizations
  • A polished and professional demeanor
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Experience on a successful, enterprise sales team
  • Experience with SalesLoft/Xant, Salesforce CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo
  • Experience in an environment focused on account-based sales development
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher with relevant job experience
  • Background in SaaS in the transportation industry a plus but not a requirement
