The Sales Enablement team provides the Global Commercial team with the information, content, and tools that help salespeople sell more effectively. The foundation of sales enablement is to provide salespeople with what they need to successfully engage the buyer throughout the buying process. In order to increase productivity and bookings growth. Specifically, the Sales Enablement team works to educate on product, process and technique prior to a sale, create content and curate customer stories as well as provide support for pre-sale RFPs, RFIs, Security Documents, Sales Proposals and Evaluations.


The RFP & Content Specialist is a high-visibility position that is responsible for all management and completion of Requests for Proposal (RFP), Requests for Information (RFI), and Security documents. These are high-priority projects that require a sophisticated, engaging and persuasive writing style.   This specialist will be responsible for all aspects of RFP management including project management, maintaining and refreshing proposal content and management tools, identifying and coordinating responses for various departments, and analyzes outcomes to make continuous improvement in our RFP process from content to packaging.  In addition, writing skills will be utilized to create specific content that is on message for the commercial team including customer case studies and stories. Interviewing, research and natural curiosity is needed to pull out content from various sources.


This position requires strong writing and communication skills combined with strong project management skills. Knowledge over time will be required about Omnitracs’ products and will require significant interaction and coordination with internal resources.


  • Lead efforts to respond to all RFP, RFI and Security requests using content management tools specific to these types of requests.
  • Own and maintain existing RFP/RFI/Security database to ensure well crafted, consistent, and accurate messaging is used in all responses.
  • Target gaps in content and collateral and partner with the necessary individuals to close those gaps
  • Monitor company communication platforms to integrate new information as it becomes available
  • Support ad-hoc projects designed to enhance the productivity & effectiveness of our market-facing teams.
  • Manage the proposal creation process, including maintaining schedules, organizing resources, coordinating inputs and review sessions, editing and formatting response documents, and providing process leadership.
  • Participate in final review of RFP responses prior to delivery with sales leaders.
  • Serve as first point of contact for salespeople with relation to RFP, RFI and security docs
  • Create original content to fill in missing gaps between salespeople, marketing and product marketing through research, and interviews.
  • Provide support on sales proposals as necessary.



EDUCATION:  Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business/Management or Creative Writing

EXPERIENCE:  Looking for individuals with 2+ years of experience in RFP management, marketing, content development, or sales proposals.
